Interview
This interview digs pretty deep. I think even if you’ve been with me for a long time there’s prolly something in here you don’t know about me.
If you’ve never read Chelsea’s work before your life is about to get better.

I podcast this originally in 2007. It contains stories of regret and panic from the circus lot. There’s a real gem in there about Alex Blatt losing his alarm clock and his mind on the same day. Also contained here, and my reason for re-broadcasting this, is the original telling of the Richard Fick story.
If you want to hear the updated, full length Richard Fick story I’ll tell you right here.

I remember the costume shop at clown college and remember clown/costume designer Richard Fick.
This is an excerpt from a 2006 episode entitled “Clowns”. Two guys who are enemies find themselves together in a life threatening situation.
The is a rerun of FC_06_01 “Pancakes”. My first episode ever. I was making breakfast and doing laundry on the circus train.

My grandmother held musical instruments close to her heart. Losing one can be devastating and it feels like it can never be replaced. This is a flashback episode which I originally ran in 2006.
My grandma bought and saved a mint silver dollar for me every birthday. I didn’t even know about them for a long time.
Coming up this week : a new episode entitled “Silver Dollars” which is about my grandmother. Also I’ll be running a flashback episode from 2006; “Accordions” which features some conversations with my grandmother.
